Does water baptism “SAVE” a person? (Part 2)
Repentance
- a change of mind/embracing a recognition of & sorrow for sin
Fire - judgment - "baptism of fire" (unrepentant unbelievers) (Matthew 3:7,10-12)
00 00 - "tongues of fire" (repentant believers, filled with the Holy Spirit) (Acts 2:3)
Righteousness - a condition or state acceptable or approved to God
"IF" water baptism saves a person,
and since salvation can't be lost (John 3:16; 10:27-29; Romans 8:38-39),
then anyone who's baptized would go to Heaven.
Therefore, since Hitler was baptized,
then Hitler would DEFINITELY be in Heaven, "IF" water baptism saves a person.
Therefore, water baptism does not save a person.
And ('de') - separate events
Household - a body of believers
With - with all/whole
