- Yom Teruah - "day of shouting/raising a voice"
- ISRAEL called to gather & repent
- offering 7 lambs without blemish to make atonement
- begins with sighting of the new moon at sundown
New Moon

(Hebrew: "chodesh" - month, lunar month, first day of the month)
Blood moon

(Hebrew: "dam" / Greek: "haima" - blood)
- occurs during the Tribulation BEFORE the Second   Coming
